With a statewide shortage of adequate impound facilities and towns becoming frustrated with feeders, the calls for help are coming faster than ever.

One family and their cats in Monmouth county ended up on animal control's radar....with our help, they have a happy story to share! Read more below...

TNR cannot work without enforcement to stop the cycle of cats born outside.
TNR cannot work without enforcement to stop the cycle of cats born outside.

A man with a small farm and several outbuildings has been feeding feral cats without fixing them for a very long time. Every year, as they bred new litters, he brought them to the town's animal shelter where they were held and then adopted out. Female cats continued to breed more and more cats each year.

As more and more litters of unvetted kittens arrived at the shelter, the animal control officer grew frustrated and finally intervened with an ultimatum this year:

"All of the cats must be fixed or your family will be fined."

This was all the push that the man's family needed to reach out to us for help. With our training, safe equipment, guidance, and vouchers, all 25 cats have joined the "No Kittens Club." Your support allowed us to help this family and their cats become compliant with animal control, avoid fines, and stop the cycle of suffering of cats born outside!
